CREATURE DESTRUCTION DECK

DECK CONCEPT: TLDR: Creature destruction, mass creature destruction, and counterspell make this deck a true hassle to play against.

All in all, slow people way way way down, while building yourself up. to do so:

Use tap effect creates like Royal Assassin to kill off the enemies mob. I can also use deathtouch which is rampant throughout the deck. With all this creature destruction, Reaper from the Abyss will be quite happy, note that it can be on anyone's turn. Lastly, once you don't have any monsters left or are facing an army of assassins and can't attack yet; I will play Lethal Vapors. Maddening Imp will ensure you keep sending your things to die, despite the inability to replenish them.

APPROACH: Use Maddening Imp to force people to attack, Royal Assassin to kill those who do, and ensure consistent damage and life gain via Vampire Nighthawk. If they die, YAY creature destruction, Avatar of Woe even quicker!. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE Lethal Vapors it has worked wonders and getting an extra turn for only 4 mana. Even better? it isn't that you get an extra turn, its that your opponent isn't getting theirs! what a hassle. The last mechanic is Dolmen Gate; I can only afford one, so Diabolic Tutor has replaced 3 other copies. Dolmen Gate will ensure that my deathtouchers can keep on touching.

DEATHTOUCHERS: Ruthless Ripper Vampire Nighthawk.

TAP DESTROYERS: Royal Assassin Avatar of Woe

DESTRUCTION SPELLS: Do or Die Malicious Affliction, my favorite is to Do or Die, and then kill w/e is left with Malicious Affliction and really drain w/e hope they had away.

COUNTERSPELLS: Negate, chosen over counterspell because it only requires 1 blue mana specifically, and I can handle creatures well enough, so this countering everything else, has proven to be handy.

SIDEBOARD: when playing against Black creature decks replace: Malicious Affliction with Dark Betrayal.

When playing against spell heavy decks, swap Malicious Affliction with Duress, and get rid of those spells before you need to Negate them.

CONCERNS: If someone has a spell deck, I don't deal enough damage. I have considered adding Curse of Shallow Graves to ensure enough tokens to kill them quickly. Second concern is token production that comes predominately from spells. I can destroy monsters that create tokens, but I can only counterspell so many token creation spells. The use of my own tokens as mentioned above would also help prevent this.

Lastly is indestructible. I can't do anything to prevent or kill indestructible creatures, I havn't had time to explore options to handle it.
