This deck has 2 main paths to victory: combat, and artifacts synergy. While combat is essential for either wincon, I have included things that buff our creatures or get pretty big themselves. The artifact wincons wins by making lots of artifacts (usually clue tokens with Sophina) and either keeping them in play for cards that care about # of artifacts, or using the etb and ltb of the tokens to ping the table

You want to keep Sophina alive if possible, since the deck relies heavily on her attack trigger. Wernog on the other hand I use to chump at every opportunity, since his ability triggers on etb AND ltb. If not, he's one more clue token for Sophina on attack.

A subtheme of this deck is on-attack triggers, which is helped by Isshin, Two Heavens as One

This originally started as a Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis treasure deck. It was fun, but kind of repetitive and too casual for my tastes.

K&T soon split into 2 spinoff treasure decks: Malcolm / Kediss and Prosper. M&K don't want critical mass of artifacts, they want to spend them to cantrip a lot so that was a pass. Prosper was getting closer to what I wanted (I finally got to run Marionette Master!), but it just didn't click so I scrapped it

Then the idea morphed into Wernog / Bjorna, Nightfall Alchemist clues with emphasis on blinking Wernog for a ton of triggers (I also considered Lonis clues and Gyome food, all inspired by Academy Manufactor. I still plan on trying out Gyome)

And finally to this. I'll admit I originally was interested in these secret lair commanders because the MTG version of Will the Wise looks cool as hell, and I'm sad the deck shifted focus from Wernog to Sophina, but I think combat is a much more fun and interactive strategy.

So far, Academy Manufactor, Krark-Clan Ironworks, and Inspiring Statuary have been the all-star cards of this deck

Agent of the Iron Throne and Guild Artisan doubles in value here because it applies to BOTH Wernog and Sophina when they are in play, making every trigger happen twice

Funniest/weirdest card in the deck is probably Glaze Fiend. With Sophina attacking, it gets +2/+2 every time those clues enter
