This deck is simple just sit back and gain life.

Most of the life gain is like 1 or 2 life (except a few cards) so be ready to say "Hay! did you add that 1 life for me". For this deck to work you need at least 2 lands, with just 3 lands you can play like 50% of the deck so don't worry about too much.

RAMP:

There are 2 ramp cards in this deck Burnished Hart and Land Tax.

COMBO:

The second more tricky way is to put Exquisite Blood and anything that says "Whenever you gain life target player loses life" [do to the fact that is says target player when you make the last hit on one you will be able to jump onto the next one and just ping everyone]{it says lose life so prevent damage will not help people}

The easiest way to kill everyone is to use Karlov and remove all defenses and just hit as hard as possible.The concept around this deck is a ping of life every now and then so Karlov should juice up real quick [you can use Athreos, God of Passage to keep its command zone recast cost low or you can cast Avacyn, Angel of Hope to get indestructible to everything you have.

As a added F*** YOU Archangel of Thune will make your creatures a bit stronger by adding +1/+1 for every life gain instance that you trigger (each lifelink is a separate instance of life gain). An added card to that is True Conviction which will give all creatures you control double strike and lifelink (yeah that's a lot of triggers for Karlov and Archangel of Thune (2 per creature to be more precise)

The fastes life gain is to have Wall of Reverence and Serra Avatar of the field for as many turns as possible.

With Rhox Faithmender and Alhammarret's Archive will double all life you get. These are support cards so that you can chill a bit and not fear getting stomped to 0 life.

CONTROL:

This deck is soft on control compared to some decks. There is a number of single target removal cards that that prolonge the fight as long as possible but if all else fails Hour of Revelation is the go to for a nice fresh start. The biggest creature control card is Karlov for just 2 mana (W/B) and 6 +1/+1 counters you can remove a creature from the game (use this to make sure enemy commanders don't live long enough to be a treat to you. However this deck can be hard at controlling who can attack with cards like Authority of the Consuls, Blind Obedience, Sphere of Safety and last but not least Ghostly Prison. Authority of the Consuls,Blind Obedience make sure that creatures and artifacts enter tapped. Sphere of Safety, Ghostly Prison and Norn's Annex make the attacker pay for attacking you which, if you have both on the field, is 4 per creature (Unless its a mana ramp deck most will not be able to pay or they will be able to pay but they will not be able to cast spells this turn).

For draw a card there is Necropotence, Indulgent Tormentor, Phyrexian Arena, Bloodgift Demon, Dawn of Hope, and Ob Nixilis Reignited. Demonic Tutor and Vampiric Tutor will help you get any card that is needed and Brainspoil will give you all the CMC5 cards that you might need.

In regards to counter spell it has Mana Tithe for countering the early commanders or high cost cards that force the enemy to pay all his mana into one spell, and Imp's Mischief for single target games the might cause you problems

This decks greatest weakness is Infect(if your friends play a deck like that hit them in my name), commander damage decks (you can control commanders at least a little bit using one of many creature removals), counters spell decks(same as first one no one likes to play vs a deck that has like 30 counter spells)
