CHALLENGE: Building a Wall Deck.

The objective of this deck is to build a commander deck that facilitated and used the specific trait of Walls and finding interesting combinations.

MECHANICS: The proposed objective is either to outlast other decks, or to aggressively defeat other decks by having cheap powerful cards. This is thanks to the commander Arcades, the Strategist and/or Assault Formation which ensures that low cost high defence walls such as Wall of Shards, Wall of Junk, Wall of Denial and Hover Barrier. Sunscape Familiar will help in ensuring that cards are affordable to cast.

COMBOS: There are certain board wipe combos designed to make your opponents think twice about attacking you. Blaze of Glory in combination with Fog Bank, Mindbender Spores, Wall of Tears, Wall of Frost will result in the opponent having their creatures returned to their hands or put into tapped position for a lengthy amount of time. Wall of Glare (as well as any wall with Blaze of Glory) can be used with Glyph of Reincarnation for some interesting changes of the board which can be further advantageous with Wheel of Sun and Moon. Furthermore, you can also use spells such as Glyph of Delusion put creature(s) into tapped position for a long duration.

As part of the theme Aurification has been added for single creature attacks, to then prevent them from attacking again.

WINNING CONDITIONS: Because this deck is a mixture between aggressive play and Stompee winning condition cards fall onto instant speed boost cards such as Tower Defense with the aid of Bar the Door for dealing mass of damage. You want to have your opponent in a position where they are open to attacks, even flying attacks. This is be aided by cards such as Builder's Blessing to keep the defences high.

You can also have Suspicious Bookcase paired with powerful wall walls, or feeding walls such as Snow Fortress or Wall of Faith will aid in chipping opponents life points away.

DRAW: To keep up with having a hand Arcades, the Strategist ensures that there will always be a hand. This can be supported with other cards such as Psychic Membrane to help keep a hand presence.
