Primary Goal Show

Play creatures that come with their own +1+1 counters, double those counters with Vorel of the Hull Clade, and swing for lethal or combo for the win (Simic Ascendancy; Sage of Hours).

Secondary Goals Show

• Preserve/salvage board (The Ozolith; Chasm Skulker; Inspiring Call)

• Eliminate all threats (Lux Cannon; Contagion Engine; Cyclonic Rift)

• Gain card/life advantage (Prime Speaker Zegana; Eternity Vessel).

• Utility cards help us get more doubles per round (Seedborn Muse; Illusionist's Bracers) and provide versatile support (Plasm Capture; Bioshift; Kruphix, God of Horizons).

Considerations Show

• I've toyed with planeswalkers for a bit. They would benefit greatly from proliferate but since Vorel of the Hull Clade can't target them, they lose priority to creatures and artifacts (Oko, the Trickster tho).

• This deck can pull out the early win in a 1v1 but it really shines in multiplayer where it can sit back building and preserving board-state until it beats all opponents in one turn. This is due to the fact that it doesn't group hug or group slug at all. All value in its cards further only its own goals while not drawing too much aggro from other players.

• This deck's major weakness is that it is very obvious when you've become a threat that opponents have to deal with (all win-conditions are permanents that take time to enable, no vomiting unrevealed infinite combos from hand). Because of this, it's recommended to save back enough mana and answers to enemy interference as possible when players target your board rather than using them proactively against enemy players' threats (Inspiring Call, Simic Charm, Counterspell).
