I'm gonna clone Volrath so I can have a Volrath that's a clone of Volrath. Hopefully I can chain together a few clones into Adephages or Spawnwrithes, then I can flood the board with 7/5 monsters that can change for 1c.

So, it's been almost 6 months since I made this deck and while the original version was successful the current version is less so. In order to remedy this A general revision must be made.

In order to successfully revise and update my deck I must first take a look at the game plan it is focused around as well as peek under the hood at the numbers break down for what it is doing.

Previous problems:

38 Lands 20 cards in the Help Volrath Category 11 Draw 13 Ramp 17 Removal

Ramp: generally works but lowering the curve of it would be desirable

Volrath: category needs to expand, my boardstate is often small

Draw: I need more, a mass removal spell or targeted removal of my board after i've begun cloning often keeps me from recovering.

Removal: This needs to be massively cut, Its nice to have interaction but if i'm neutering some else's board state I am ignoring my own. Volrath is a mad scientist, he should respect the work of his peers not fear it.

I have reorganized and revised.

No: are my answers, as stated I do not need 17. If this is too few than I'll up the number later on.

Advantage: These are mostly card draw but also cards that do not fit as neatly into that previous category, sultai charm is here because it does three things, journey flips but it first resurrects a creature, etc. etc.
