My first take on a Vito lifegain deck. Our goal is to convert our lifegain into direct damage to target opponents. This will involve ramping and setting up some early lifegain with cards such as Vampire Nighthawk and Dread Presence, before moving to efficient mid-range creatures like Twilight Prophet. We can also remove threats and hopefully turn that into damage with cards such as Erebos's Intervention and Consume Spirit. We also have some direct lifegain (and thus direct damage) cards such as Tendrils of Corruption and Blood Tithe. Finally, we can hopefully finish off any player with finishers such as Kokusho, the Evening Star, Blood Tribute, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, and Sorin's Vengeance.

To help us gain even more life, we have Aetherflux Reservoir (an alternate win con) and Alhammarret's Archive. We can give our creatures lifelink with Vito, as well as using Whip of Erebos. Enchantments such as Bloodchief Ascension, Polluted Bonds, and Wound Reflection are going to hurt our opponents very quickly in conjunction with our deck's main game plan.

For redundancy, we are running Defiant Bloodlord and Sanguine Bond.

Note, we are NOT running Exquisite Blood. Obviously the card is amazing with Vito, but I personally find that combo a little boring and if I ran it would just tutor for it every game. I am much more interested in trying to piece together damage with these other cards, but if you wanted the most powerful Vito deck you should consider running it.
