This is the kind of deck where you might find a new way to go infinite every game. You got the obvious Coveted Jewel + Whim of Volrath (or anything that makes 3 mana) as well as Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter into Ballista. However, Orvar is the king of convolution. Orvar likes gettin' jiggy wit' it. High Tide into Archaeomancer getting back High Tide is pretty ridiculous. That makes infinite tapped Islands with Whim of Volrath. Recur Archaeomancer one more time, then you're going positive and you can do think like loop two cantrips over and over to draw your whole deck. If you've already got Dramatic Scepter on board, you can just target Scepter and imprint a cantrip under the new copy to draw your whole deck. Also have to mention Spellseeker, it's practically a one card combo. cEDH TV has a video mentioning it. This would be the longest description ever if I kept on about combos, I think y'all get the point. The deck practically combos with itself.

Transmute Artifact and Mystical Tutor find any of your combo lines, or at least find another tutor that will find your preferred combo line lol. Step Through and Vedalken AEthermage are in the deck purely to find Spellseeker. Spellseeker is love, Spellseeker is life.

Glen Elendra Archmage do much protect and can be super hard to remove and deal with in this deck. Testing Spellstutter Sprite, this seems too good. Gonna come down and counter CMC 2 initially at the least as long as Orvar is out, then it only gets better from there. Honestly, like 95% of the spells you want to counter cost 3 or less anyway, so Spellstutter turns a quarter of your deck into a 1 mana counterspell for virtually anything you need it for.

Any ideas and suggestions are welcomed and appreciated! This deck is looking for some more card advantage, and maybe an extra combo line or two. Thank you!

Recently decided to drop Walking Ballista for Blue Sun's Zenith. Reason being, is that I have come across situations running through Spellseeker chains where I can win the game as long as I can get an extra tutor off of Spellseeker, where I've already used Essence Flux. Teferi's Time Twist can avoid this issue, grabbing Transmute Artifact off the Orvar trigger and casting it to get Coveted Jewel. Original Spellseeker flickers back in on end step and grabs you Whim of Volrath to draw your whole deck at instant speed on end step which allows you to draw out your opponents with Blue Sun's. Only thing I don't like about it is that it leaves your Coveted Jewel open to removal until end step. However, Blue Sun's can win the game in the same situations that Ballista could, but also opens up a possible line to win the game where Ballista couldn't. Not to mention the deck could use extra card advantage. Going to test Thassa's Oracle out as well. Obviously a win con, but like I said this deck needs card advantage and typically I'm looking for one specific type of card at a time. Hoping with Thoracle that I'll be going at least 5-10 deep if not more every time I make a copy which should find my pieces pretty well. Please let me know your thoughts, thank you!
