Instant (1)

A Standard White/Black lifedrain deck. The idea is mostly draining by using allies, bashing from the sky and tons of removal to control the board somewhat.

Creatures:

  • Kalastria Healer : The key figure of this deck. Early drops that will drain a bit of life when he and other allies enter the field.

  • Drana's Emissary : A 2/2 flyer that drains every turn is quite solid and also one of the key figures of this deck.

  • Cliffhaven Vampire : A 2/4 flyer is not that great for the offence but he works well with Emissary and the Healer. 4 Defence means he also can block quite well.

  • Drana, Liberator of Malakir : Drana is an odd one in this deck but because everyone thinks she is super dangerous, they will use all their control on her instead of our key figures. Regardless, a win in my book.

  • Kambal, Consul of Allocation : Kambal is amazing against control types of decks. The draining he causes works great with Cliffhaven and a 2/3 for 3 mana is nice enough.

  • Zulaport Cutthroat : Our creatures are weak and so they will die a lot. So Zulaport cutthroat is just here because when creatures they, we still drain life. Chump blocking will be less terrifying.

  • Noxious Gearhulk : Our biggest creature that gives us life if successful as well as removal.

  • Eldrazi Displacer : Our Eldrazi ally that can blink our allies for more life draining.

Removal:

  • Anguished Unmaking : Our best removal. It should mostly be used for strong/indestructible creatures or enchantments. The life loss is nothing as we keep draining.

  • Declaration in Stone : Great removal against indestructible creatures and tokens. I love it.

  • Ruinous Path : Great against planeswalkers mostly. Average against creatures but it gets the job done.

  • Stasis Snare : I love this card. imo the best and main removal in this deck against creatures.

Support

  • March from the Tomb: March is an amazing bomb unless all your creatures are exiled. 5 mana means you will only use it late game. Your allies will get removed and else you will probably at some point chump block. 4 Kalastria's means 16 dmg and 16 life gain!

  • Gideon, Ally of Zendikar: Gideon is aggressive and creates allies for your Healers. The ally of Zendikar works well in an...well...ally deck.

  • Ob Nixilis Reignited : He is not an ally but he is removal and card draw, which is really needed in this deck. When left unchecked, his ultimate is a great game-ender.

Updates Add

In December 2016, Standard Showdown was introduced and of course, this deck had to be tested in the Arena.

Match 1: Red/White Vehicles (1-2) : First round was intense as we both had good draws, my removal worked wonders but when we were both in top-deck mode, he drew a better card sooner than me. Second round, Gideon turn 4 destroyed him. Third round, More like round 1 but he drew better cards and I got beaten by vehicles.

Match 2: Aethermarvel (1-2) : First round I was defeated because I only drew 2 land and no removal. Second round I defeated him, Gideon again won the round. Third round I lasted longer than round 1 but I could not win again 2 Ulamogs. I removed the first one, second one kicked me over the edge.

Match 3: ??? (2 - 0): To be fair, I had no clue what that deck was about but it didn't do much.
