Goal of the deck is to play creatures and removal to gain plenty of life then slowly drain them once you get Exquisite Blood or Sanguine Bond up, or even better yet, both.

Good set-ups:

• Tithe Drinker to get the early extort deck going, and if you get this with an Ajani's Pridemate, it's an easy 4/4 by turn 3.

• Getting the early aggro in with Fiendslayer Paladin and Vampire Nighthawk in conjunction with the early removal is key to stacking up the health.

• Spend all that hard earned health with card draw from Sign in Blood and Erebos, God of the Dead, then hold off until you can get some plainwalkers out and the enchantments for the combo.

• Good finishers are Obzedat, Ghost Council and Gray Merchant of Asphodel, which you can always bring back with Whip of Erebos.

• Removed 1x Sign in Blood, added 1x Elspeth, Sun's Champion. Had her lying around and decided she needed a good home, has worked well so far. Still playtesting her.

• Removed 1x Gray Merchant of Asphodel, added 1x Sorin, Grim Nemesis. Fits very well in this deck.

• Removed 3x Doom Blade for 3x Victim of Night. These just work better for the decks my friends are running, but doom blades work just fine.
