Deck History

• Have I created a competitive deck? No.
• Have I made a good deck? Debatable.
• Have I made a deck that satisfies the Johnny, Combo Player inside of me? Hell yeah!!!

In 2022 I first stumbled across the idea of running Changelings to get buffs from different tribes from this video by Mitch (The Commander's Quarters). But I was unsatisfied with his list. It seems disjointed and inconsistent.

Flash forward to the release of Phyrexia: All Will Be One and Urtet, Remnant of Memnarch. I like the idea that we finally have a powerful Myr commander that untaps all Myrs before combat, creates Myr tokens, and for {W}{U}{B}{R}{G}, {T} can boost the power of a Myr army. But try as I might I could never get over the fact that besides Myr Galvanizer most of the Myrs suck.

A few months go by and I still can't let go of how cool Urtet is and how I want to build him. That's when I have an idea. What if there was a way to combine Urtet with other better tribes? I stumbled upon Tomer Abramovici's article Tribal Tribal Primer | All Tribes In One Deck which inspired me further.

Having made up my mind I sat down and brewed this list cramming in as many strange tribal combos and untapping synergies as I could.

Infinite Combos

Most of the following infinite combos requires changing the creature type of one of the combo pieces. This can be done using one of the following Amoeboid Changeling, Mirror Entity, Unnatural Selection, Arcane Adaptation, and Maskwood Nexus.

• One of the above + Seeker of Skybreak + Magda, Brazen Outlaw = Infinite treasures and infinite Artifact/Dragon/Changeling tutor
• One of the above + Seeker of Skybreak + Myr Galvanizer + Mana dork(s) that tap for 2 mana = Infinite mana and infinite Myr/Changeling untap
• One of the above + Scuttling Sliver + Harabaz Druid or Priest of Titania or Heronblade Elite or Wirewood Channeler = Infinite mana and infinite Sliver/Changeling untap
• Myr Galvanizer + Shapesharer + Mana dork(s) that tap for 2 mana = Infinite mana and infinite Myr/Changeling untap
• Aggravated Assault + Mana dork(s) that tap for 6 mana = Infinite mana, Infinite combat phases, and infinite untap
