Sideboard

Thanks for taking a look at my landfall deck. I'm always looking for improvements. Let's dig in:

Plan A

My main goal with this deck creation is to win via landfall. I love playing lands and therefore I want to win with them. I want Scapeshift to still be a big play and I want the opponent to be mad at me when I play a land. I most always enjoy playing a control deck but have the most satisfaction from giving the opponent a good beat down with one big creature. With that in mind, I am hoping to have lots of land ramp and play the big Ob Nixilis, the Fallen as early as possible.

Plan B

The secondary plan of action would be a late game of man-lands. Creeping Tar Pit is something to dump mana into. I will have extra mana to dump and if there are other (or better) options for mana dumping I am all ears. Treetop Village is also a wonderful man-land for this deck.

Creatures

Hedron Crab - awesome MVP here. Can win me the game or just disrupt them quite a bit. Play a land, mill 3 cards.

Sakura-Tribe Elder - this is the basic ramp in the deck and, more or less, the chump blockers. If need be, he can be buffed with Retreat to Kazandu .

Ob Nixilis, the Fallen - Wins the game with Scaepshift. Can get super beefy with Retreat to Kazandu .

Avenger of Zendikar - unexpected by most because of his cost. But when he hits the field I get at least 7 plants. Scapeshift to win games with your plant tokens.

Spells

Retreat to Kazandu - used to be in my sideboard but I would always side them in. I ended up maining 2 of them and I am contemplating on including more. Lots of lands means lots of life or big buffed creatures.

Explore - only 2 CMC makes it a favorite of mine. 26 lands will help this usually play the additional land every time.

Serum Visions - dig through the deck. especially since we only have 1 Ob and 1 Avenger.

Inquisition of Kozilek - chosen over Thoughtseize here because I do happen to take a lot of life just so my lands are all evened out.

Abrupt Decay - Mhmm.

Remand - Yup. Draw off of that is clutch.

Scapeshift - wins games. Can often be used just to get some Khalni Garden s onto the field for some creatures or to pull out a Bojuka Bog against a graveyard deck.

Crucible of Worlds - how does fetchlands every turn sound?

Notable Lands

Oboro, Palace in the Clouds - guarranteed land drop every turn. I almost never sac this land to Scapeshift .

Creeping Tar Pit and Treetop Village - these man lands really help late game. Can be combined with Retreat to Kazandu for +1/+1 counters to cause some mayhem.

Thanks to anyone who takes a look or has a word to say.

Updates Add

I've done a new clean description that outlines what I hope for with this deck. I understand I have made quite some changes but I always end up unhappy with the results. Nonetheless, there is always hope! Thanks.
