I've built nearly every other type of red/black deck I can think of: tokens, aggro, combo, resource denial, voltron, tribal vampires, but I think this is the first time I've ever made a pillow fort deck in two of the nastiest colors, much less with a general dubbed 'The Murder King'.

Looking at the deck, it should be pretty easy to figure out what's going on. Essentially, I sit back behind my wall of "no" and sacrifice creatures to slowly chip away at my opponents. I do just a little bit at first to seem innocuous, and then, hopefully, I have enough damage doublers and deterrents to start really laying out the damage.

I have never had to pay the general tax for Tymaret. If he's ever targeted for removal, he'll usually be back the next turn for a measly two mana in addition to saccing a creature.

It's strangely kind of fun to play because many of the creatures recur, and I don't mind trading with the random person who decides that I'm a threat. It's also odd to be on the defensive in two colors that seem like they always want to be attacking.

Entomb is there almost exclusively for Gravecrawler. Being able to continually recast it while Tymaret is out (and he's perpetually on the field) is incredibly annoying to whomever I'm pinging.
