Treefolk Tribal Assault Formation GO! (Modern MTG Deck)

Treefolk as a tribe have a lot of synergy with one another. My deck focuses on many of the synergistic elements that treefolk have. Unstoppable Ash with its champion ability can allow either Treefolk Harbinger or Deadwood Treefolk to use their abilities again if Ash would get destroyed/removed. If Doran, the Siege Tower is active, Ash's ability gives all the trees additional power when they are blocked, allowing huge tramplers like Dauntless Dourbark to easily swing for 10+ damage if blocked. The interaction between Treefolk Harbinger and Leaf-Crowned Elder is great too, especially if you have 2 Elders out and play a Harbinger for free on the first activation of the Elder's ability, which essentially allows you to tutor and play any treefolk card for free! Which, by the way, happens to be almost every non-land card in the deck!

If there are any comments or suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them! This deck is my wife's favorite, and is a great deck to learn the game with, while being competitive enough to be fun!

After thinking for the last few years that there would never be any updates to this deck until we got another Lorwyn set, they hit us with what is likely the best card possible to make the deck run more smoothly: Generous Ent! It solves multiple problems: 1) Making land drops to reliably cast 5+drops. The landcycle ability means it will never be a dead draw in our hand. It also gives the deck more turn 1 plays. 2) 5/7 with REACH! We now have more resilience to flyers which was a weakness before. 3) Lifegain in the form of the food token, which can save us in a pinch and allows us to cut cards like Orchard Warden that are more clunky to use and less reliable.

I will also be trying out a single copy of Fangorn, Tree Shepherd, since vigilance works great with all the toughness in play, and the mana generation might come in handy. Plus I've always wanted to fit in Indomitable Ancients just for the 10 toughness, but couldn't justify it. Now I'll have a 10 toughness creature that's more on color to test out!
