The Treefolk-Shamans deck. [You can ignore this text wall. It's not very relevant anymore and mostly notes as I was playing the deck, and have briefly commented since.]

(R/G). [On the Dorks/Ramp package] This is what I believe to be the best primer of competitive Shamans/Treefolk. There are some things to note before we get into it that aren't particularly intuitive. Originally, this deck used to run Sakura-Tribe Elder/Sakura-Tribe Scout, because it's tribal and ramps into a T3 Leaf-Crown Eldar (LCE) I don't think LCE is the appeal of the deck in the current state of the game but I'm happy to have opposing opinions. these days, I've elected to use Atarka's Command in that slot, having Atarka's in the deck, makes blocking very tricky for our opponents, even though we only play two, they don't know that. All copies past the first one have increasingly less utility as the game progresses, which is why we play 2.

I opted to play 1x Fanatic of Mogis but switched to Firemantle Mage, as it makes the game much harder for our opponent. just because the deck could use a bit of reach and being able to CoCo for it is very nice.

We curve out at about 3 ideally.

I still haven't decided which set up I like more but, play around with it a bit I guess. We can end the game as early as T4-T5, but also have a bit of an easier time playing the long game than something like burn might with the Reach of BTS/BBE. [What's it like playing the deck?/changes I'd make from primer] It's very medium, it feels like a more synergistic aggro deck, that really likes to go wide and our team is generally bigger than our opponents, thanks to Rage Forger. Playing fetch lands in the deck makes the LCE varients much better.

BTS really is an all star as well, making our opponents pay large sums of life to fetch. I particularly like it against affinity.

I think Bushwhacker should be in the mainboard. It is a better card than some of the things we're doing and it's really good with Emissary.

I like the Tribe though. Chameleon Colossus should be in the maindeck or side, at the moment as well.
[Other things you can do with Treefolk Shamans]

You can play Junk, because of Murmuring Bosk. I'm not really a huge fan of pain lands, or Doran, because of how color intensive that can be.

You can also head down the Descendant's Path/Ghoultree route, and play more of a combo deck. Playing 10/10's for free is pretty fun, and the ramp package plays a bigger deal in that version of the deck. I think playing Green/Red Value is something I'd really like to try with this package. Going heavy on LCE/Oracle of Mul Daya/BTS/BBE and CoCo, but it's too many fours.
