Sideboard

This list is inspired by the notorious 'Edric Turns' deck, one that I enjoy playing very much. Now, I don't believe that this deck is even close to as powerful, since we lack blue. However, I had an idea looking at Toski. What if, instead of extra turns, we fogged them out? Swing recklessly with creatures that are evasive/hard to block, draw cards, and use cards like Fog and Constant Mists to protect from the crackback? Pretty decent, especially in the oddly aggresive meta that is my playgroup. The plan against non-combat based decks is to create pressure, get tons of value of combat damage triggers from Toski, Bearer of Secrets , and use finishers like Beastmaster's Ascension to close the game. The fact that the commander of the deck has indestructible and card draw attached means sweepers aren't the worst, and if we (inevitably) face a Cyclonic Rift , we can just redeploy all our cheap threats. A few ramp cards like Azusa, Lost but Seeking take advantage of the absurd card draw this deck can pull off. Kamahl’s Will enables significant mid to late game swings, especially when you play it multiple times with Regrowth . This deck is still very much in the works, with tons of cards I want to experiment with. I might decide to focus on more of an infect finish, for example, besides Fynn, the Fangbearer . Let me know what you think!
