Aminatou, the Top-Deck Hero

Aminatou, the Fateshifter "Ah, again it does not bode well for you."

Intro

This deck revolves around the newly spoiled 2018 Commander Planeswalker, Aminatou the Fatestitcher. It utilizes all three of her abilities to their fullest, allowing you to take advantage of top-deck manipulation, get more out of bouncing creatures, and damn near win the game with her ultimate ability.

Top Deck HERO

Lots of stuff in here that allows you to manipulate your topdeck and benefit from the effects of a card there. Do lots of damage across the board by revealing high CMC cards with Baneful Omen, counter spells with Counterbalance, get free stuff with Arbiter of the Ideal and Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign, use Deceiver of Form to make your whole board a copy of a big beater, etc. A suite of options, and lots of ways besides Aminatou to control your topdeck. Sensei's Divining Top is one of the best - lets you reorder the top 3, and you can put a CMC 1 card on your topdeck at instant speed.

Timesifter can be used when you just need a couple extra turns to win the game and have high CMC cards on call. You can also use Psychic Battle to take control of targeted abilities for good if you keep a high CMC card on topdeck. With Aminatou's Augury you can cast up to six spells and play a land for free - ideal with Hidden Retreat or Insidious Dreams, or when you've had time to stack your topdeck with Soothsaying.

Aminatou's Pogo Stick

Lots of bounce options available too, and two that can go infinite to either win you the game or enable a superior boardstate. Ghostly Flicker works with Archaeomancer/Mnemonic Wall and Peregrine Drake to give you infinite flickers and mana. Felidar Guardian and Aminatou can infinitely flicker each other as well.

Cathars' Crusade can buff your field up when you get the infinite flicker, and Djinn of Wishes lets you play your entire library once you get infinite mana and flickering. Panharmonicon enables any of these combos further, and makes the creatures more effective individually if you're angling for a different tact. If you have infinite mana, Mindshrieker can mill out all of your opponents.

Stacking Your Deck With Tutors

Some tutors are 'balanced' by having their mana costs reduced and, instead of putting the card in your hand, they place it on your topdeck. For Aminatou, that's actually a good thing... Cruel Tutor and Imperial Seal are nice, but Vampiric Tutor is the best - its Instant speed allows you to play it in response to your upkeep triggers. Insidious Dreams' discard cost can be steep early game, but it is the superior late-game tutor because it allows you to stack cards on top of your deck in the order of your choosing, very strong in this top-deck centric Aminatou.

Enlightened Tutor has narrower selection, but helps give you access to key enchantments as soon as possible while also allowing you to manipulate your topdeck. Mystical Tutor is in a similar boat, but can help us grab Approach of the Second Sun or Aminatou's Augury late game. Mangara's Tome is a very unconventional tutor that allows you the option of freezing your topdeck and instead putting a card in your hand from an alternate pile.

But Where's My Timmy Combo?

There's a built-in 'oh shit' button I call The Ami-maniac: Tunnel Vision or Demonic Consultation + Laboratory Maniac and the deck's many Scry or bottom-deck triggers. Djinn of Wishes, Precognition Field, and Mangara's Tome can also filter through your deck instead of Tunnel Vision if you have infinite mana/flickers up. If you want to be super classy (read: an asshole), you can use Jace, the Mind Sculptor to Fateseal an opponent and then cast Tunnel Vision to take 'em out of the game.

Cue the Wicked Guitar Solo

The final trigger of Demonic Pact is hilarious with Aminatou's ult, just declare right, pass it to the left, and pass turn. Lich's Mastery falls into a similar boat, play it on the turn you ult and pass it off to some other unlucky sucker. It's also strong enough that you can use it to keep yourself alive if need be. You can also cast Teferi's Protection in response to Aminatou's final trigger to phase your whole field, pass nothing, and then regain control of everything on your next turn.

Updates Add

Hey all! So a few cards were suggested in the comments that are absolutely fantastic for this build. I removed a few cards whose bottom-decking effects were mandatory, such as Tomorrow, Azami's Familiar, and removed some of the weaker Miracles for this build. I'm most excited for Timesifter - seems like an all-too easy way to seal the fate of the game.
