Basilisk Collar seems really meh, has it been good to you?

kameenook, in my casual testing it has been great. Goes perfect with Ulvenwald Tracker. I need more competitive testing though.

I would say centralize your sideboard a bit more. You don't need both Rest in Peace and Relic of Progenitus, or Krosan Grip and Unravel the Aether.

I would go for just the Krosan Grip, split second is beast.

I'd say a couple Path to Exile would fit nicely.

+1 my friend, great looking deck! It's a shame you missed the opportunity to call it "Angry Orchard" though ;)

Why do you chose Nameless Inversion?

October 11, 2015 12:36 p.m.

rhyptherock because it combos with Leaf-Crowned Elder

Have you considered Collected Company for this? I think it would be a good addition to your build. Also, it will rarely miss given your high creature count.

January 3, 2016 3:36 p.m.

For sure Scytec I am gonna grab a set come tax time to try 2 here and 2 in my gruul zoo.For cuts, I'm thinking all 4 Nameless Inversion for 2 coco and 2 PtE. Solid?

I think that will be a good addition here. In all honesty though, not sure about the collar here. Maybe try testing dropping those and bumping up to 4 PtE. Just an idea. I always play removal heavy though. I'm a bit biased. :p

January 3, 2016 3:50 p.m.

I'll try that out.

January 3, 2016 3:53 p.m.

Trying out some CoCo.

Let me know how it works for you man. Best of luck.

So I am pondering this: Can I drop my lands to 21 if I up my Windswept Heaths to 4? I'd then up Dungrove Elder to 4. What do you think Scytec? YamishiTheWickedOne? Maybe even ChiefBell if you have the time, seeing you're an abzan aficionado ; )

Given the amount of ramp and pseudo ramp you have access too, I don't forsee that being a problem. Do you currently have issues with mana screw? With 10 ways to aquire additional mana in your deck other than land, you should be fine.

January 7, 2016 12:01 p.m.

It tends to not happen often, but we all have games with any deck that get mana screwed.

January 7, 2016 12:33 p.m.

I feel like you need more spells that can get lands into play from your library. Expedition Map, Harrow and Rampant Growth all strike me as useful. Also, throw in 1 or 2 Dryad Arbor. It's good when you're sitting on a fetch and someone plays Lily and goes -2. I abuse this trick when I'm playing infect. 21 lands sounds fine if you have enough space for ample fetches. You'll want a decent stock of basic forests. 8 looks fine. Seeing as you have Urborg, which is great tech here, I think dropping Overgrown Tomb to 2 and adding more fetches is a good idea.

I second Dryad Arbor with more fetches. That is great tech that is free as far as your deck is concerned.
