-Constant Mists

+Garruk’s Uprising

This was a tough one to fit it. I know a lot of people are just swapping out Elemental Bond for Uprising, but I feel that effect is good enough to be redundant. I had gone back and forth about cutting Oblivion Stone to fit in Uprising, but after a few games to evaluate what the deck may need I find that blowing up the board has been useful more often than a repeatable fog. Not many decks are going to win in combat against me, but large board states filled with utility creatures can be troublesome. Almost every game I play there comes a point where a board wipe will set an opponent way back, and this list has the ability to rebuild faster than most opponents can.

Another thing to consider is that none of these cards, Constant Mists, Garruk’s Uprising, and Oblivion Stone, are tutorable in mono green. This favors cards that are more generically good rather than situational. Constant Mists is going to be good only if combat is threatening, which I find to be less common than opponents getting ahead on board with permanents.

Driemer84 Brotha you seen the new Dryad???

Dryad of Ilysian Grove 2G Enchantment Creature - Nymph You may play an additional land on each of your turns.Lands you control have all basic land types in addition to other types.

Aka - Wayward Swordtooth+Prismatic Omen in one. Pretty creeped. Looks exciting :-).

Savaaage I did! While that card is pretty awesome, I think we’re saturated on exploration effects. Wayward Swordtooth is the better beater so I think he stays, though the prismatic omen effect is interesting. I would love to see one more crucible type effect more than anything.

If Theros only gives me one or two cards across all my decks I’d be completely happy. WOTC has been slamming me with goods lately and it’s been difficult to try and fit it all in haha.

Why are you not playing Food Chain? With Food Chain + Titania + Command Beacon you get infinite elemental tokens, and infinite Mana for creature spells. You are already playing Command Beacon, so Food Chain makes sense.

phrozen I'm familiar with the Food Chain combo. I'm not running it because Food Chain doesn't do anything else besides the combo in my list. I'm only running 15 creatures and only 3 of them have a cmc of 6 or greater. Ramping into them before the combo is assembled is something the deck already does well, and infinite mana for creatures after it's assembled doesn't actually do a whole lot for the deck. Infinite tokens is definitely a game ender, but I feel like I have enough finishers that work well with a medium sized board presences that comes from doing what the deck does naturally. It's definitely a powerful combo, and I wouldn't fault anyone who wanted to run it, I'm just not a fan of combos where half of the combo is air by itself.
