-Deck Power Evaluation

Style: Stompy

Ramp and sacrifice your utility lands to create an army of 5/3s and smash your opponents

Tutor Count: 10
Woodland Bellower, Finale of Devastation, Green Sun's Zenith, Natural Order, Pir's Whim, Scapeshift, Sylvan Scrying, Crop Rotation, Worldly Tutor, Expedition Map

Even though the deck runs a high amount of tutors, I don't feel like this pushes into repetitive lines of play or over the top power. All tutors are limited to creatures and lands and this means you will mostly be grabbing utility creatures or lands in the early to mid game, or a finisher if you have a sufficient board state.

Win by Turn: 8-10

This deck can be very explosive and has the potential to end games very quickly, but the deck only wins through combat, which means board wipes and interaction can slow things down. This deck is built to handle the long game though, and can win out of now where with an explosive turn of tokens into a Concordant Crossroads.

Power Level: 8

Even though the deck runs a lot of tutors and fast mana, being a combat based deck is what keeps this deck at a reasonable power level.

-Deck Play Patterns-

Try to get a land in the graveyard on turns 1-3 and then get Titania down immediately after and get the value off her enter the battlefield trigger. Ideally you want a fetch land or utility land with a sacrifice ability in the yard early so you can generate a 5/3 right away. You then want to look for an Exploration type effect, a Crucible of Worlds effect, or go into hyper mode with both. The deck will really start to hum if you are able to play multiple lands from your graveyard in a turn.

Once you have an engine running you want to look for cards like Elemental Bond, Life's Legacy, or Nissa, Vital Force for her emblem. The draw in this deck is critical to keep pushing forward toward a critical mass of tokens turned lethal by a typical green finisher like Craterhoof Behemoth or Triumph of the Hordes.

Sometimes the deck will lead you down a path of a quick kill from a fast army, but the deck can also grind it out with the best of them. If the game goes long you can rely on Oblivion Stone to sweep up unfavorable board states and recover quicker than most opponents through the deck's organic ability to generate an army by simply playing Magic. Another option for the long game is to put problematic opponents into a choke hold with Strip Mine, Crucible of Worlds, and Exploration. This deck can potentially Strip Mine an opponent off 6 lands in a turn, cutting them off crucial colors and resources. I generally only go for this strategy as a last resort because I like my friends, but it is definitely a guilty pleasure watching my opponents being forced into submission if you take the deck into this game state.
