After a 3 year hiatus from MTG, I am returning and this deck is in the process of being rebuilt. Having missed a few years worth of sets, it may take a bit for me to adapt to the meta so feel free to recommend stuff that I may not have thought of.

People complain that all of my decks are too competitive so here is this. I do not believe in playing suboptimal cards for the sake of playing at lower power level tables. Instead of building sub-optimal decks for the sake of intentionally building sub-optimal decks, I believe the philosophy of playing a weaker strategy with the best possible cards to achieve that goal. Hence the ridiculous price tag for a deck built around Storm Crow.

If someone says that the almighty lord Storm Crow is too powerful to be a commander (it really needs to be errata'd to be legendary, having multiple on board is too powerful for most decks to deal with), then there are other random legendary creatures in the deck that can be swapped out for it. Either way, the plan is to staple as many words onto my commander and kill off the table with the insurmountable power of the Storm Crow. Eldrazi Conscription is ideal for this purpose. Also, a Storm Crow with horsemanship from Sun Quan, Lord of Wu should be enough to cause your opponent(s) to fall into a spiral of madness. Victory from here should be easy enough.

Feel free to recommend some stuff. I play actual competitive EDH more than casual EDH so I am sure I missed some of the obvious cards that could be here.

Also, I am debating a more stax oriented build, hence some of the cards in the maybeboard.

Before you bother asking, yes. I absolutely did buy every version of Storm Crow so that I could "sideboard" them out between games. Don't judge me.

Weirdly people don't care about me playing Storm Crow as my commander but I have actually had people care about me having Crow Storm in the deck. The card isn't actually good in this deck anyway so I cut it.

Mindslaver was fun but often bricked. Added in some more equipment as it is more fitting given the plan of the deck.

Thassa, God of the Sea wasn't really necessary. I think I used the ability to make a creature unblockable twice total and outside of that it just sat around as a scry ever turn. Same reason I cut Whirler Rogue

Mental Misstep and Flusterstorm are powerhouses in cEDH. Not so much in casual. As I primarily play this deck against people who don't have competitive decks, I cut these.

Trying out Gilded Drake and a few other creatures so I am not as weak to Sheoldred, Whispering One effects as those are common in my meta.

Also, new record for Almighty Lord Storm Crow: 34 power / 36 toughness, flying, first strike, vigilance, trample, lifelink, infect, annihilator 2, indestructible, double strike. The people playing Modern next to us stopped what they were doing to watch the game. The last person I hit with the Crow cast a Tragic Slip (with morbid) on the Storm Crow, blocked with a Rune-Scarred Demon, and still died.
