A draft inspired deck based around pack rat. I drafted something similar to this I thought it was a cool idea so I figured I would fix this up and put this together and I am looking for any suggestions. Let's break it down.

If this works properly, you should only need to discard one card to Pack Rat. Once you have his token, the populate then comes into play.

You usually want to keep a hand with Pack Rat in it, however, Sphinx's Revelation can help you both acquire it, and fuel it if need be.

Rootborn Defenses is a great card to prevent board wipes! Plus, it nets you another rat token!

I am testing a Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx in here because I recently found out that the rat tokens count toward devotion!

I believe Mutavault is self explanatory!

Is your only Pack Rat in the graveyard? Not a problem, Whip of Erebos can bring it back long enough to trigger it's ability plus the lifelink is very helpful. The Lifelink helps make Ajani, Caller of the Pride's ultimate all the more fearsome.

Elspeth, Sun's Champion is a great card and really helps our board presence!

I'm still deciding if I want Phantom General in the mainboard. It makes the tokens from Brimaz, King of Oreskos and Elspeth, Sun's Champion more of a threat, but for the Pack Rats, I would rather have another rat.

Use Elixir of Immortality to get the cards discarded with Pack Rat back!

Once again, this is just an idea i've been kicking around so I want your help to make this deck all it can be!
