Alright, so some major, major changes coming in here. Here they are:

Out

1x Kolaghan's Command: There wasn't an huge driving force to kick this out, but it was a pretty situational card and a bad topdeck, so I decided to take it down to one copy.

1x Lightning Bolt: Needed more space, and it was, again, a bad topdeck against an opposing goyf or other biggey.

1x Maelstrom Pulse: This was a hard decision to take, but I figured that with the new changes, it would be less used. We'll see how that goes.

1x Murderous Cut: Really could've been better. It also made my Goyfs smaller and my Snapps less useful.

1x Obstinate Baloth: Lacking in power, really. It lost against the most common Goyfs, and the discard effect was only good against Lili.

In

1x Cryptic Command: Alright, call me crazy for playing both Cryptic Command and Cruel Ultimatum in a four color deck, but the fact remains that the Command is incredible. The draw power was especially what I was going for here, and the hard counter helps against stuff like Collected Company and other annoying things.

2x Mana Leak: Gets everything early game really, without exceptions. It's only a two-of because it's a bad draw late-game, but it remains a hit-all counter.

1x Spell Snare: Hits around 50% of the stuff in Modern, so it was an auto-include.

1x Jace, Architect of Thought: The more I've been testing this guy, the more I like him. He provides immediate card advantage. He single-handedly deals a serious blow to Twin and knocks down attackers so I can slowly recover after a heavy blow. His ult, if ever achieved, is a free Cruel Ultimatum and my opponent's best card. Not sure how you can no to that.

The mana base was also changed to help this list a bit more.

Possible changes

I'm thinking about replacing Tasigur, the Golden Fang. I'm however hesitating between a couple cards, most notably Verdilion Clique and Thragtusk. The original Suicide and Modern can be found here.

Also, discussion being reset.

So this is the star?

I guess? It's incredibly fun to play and it actually feels like mine and not just a pale copy of another archetype... And it's decently competitive...

Lotus Cobra was in the original version, but it was a terrible topdeck and was just really vulnerable. Considering I don't run any counters. Young Pyromancer could be interesting... Not entirely sure about it, but I'll test it some.

I think the technical term for this color combo is known as Glint, mainly because of Glint-Eye Nephilim.

June 1, 2015 9:30 p.m.

Hm, is it? Didn't know that.

It may or may not, idk. That's just what I call it.

Like Yore is based off Yore-Tiller Nephilim, Dune is based off Dune-Brood Nephilim, Ink is based off Ink-Treader Nephilim, and Witch is based off Witch-Maw Nephilim.

Oh wow I was wondering that! Thats actually really cool! Is there a special designation for five color or is it just called five color?

June 1, 2015 9:43 p.m.

SirFowler says... #9

Not really, since there are multiple 5-colored cards but only five 4 colored cards.

Okay cool, thanks for the tip!

I guess you could call it 5-star. That seems like the best way to say 5 colored.

Or Rainbow. Anyway, THIS. IS COOL.

I think. I'll opt to play against this, possibly tomorrow.

What about Feed the Clan SB against burn?

June 2, 2015 6:16 p.m.

Meh. It would be good in many other decks, but I don't run many creatures and honestly, my lands deal me about 10 damage a game (Runlue can testify XD ) so even if it's used at full potential, it'll simply restore my original life and not stop burn.

June 2, 2015 6:20 p.m.

klone13 says... #17

Ya, but literally all ur creatures have over 4 power except snappy. I have seen in a sultai midrange control list (don't have the link atm).

June 2, 2015 6:21 p.m.

Runlue says... #18

Nah, that's him trying to tell you "My deck sucks against burn, but I don't want to admit it, otherwise this deck is gonna suck!". Just sayin'.

6tennis says... #19

Jeez. Um, I wanna say bump the Sc'ooze count up to 2, but don't know what to take out for one. Or, take out a Tusk for Obstinate Baloth, if you're into that.

June 2, 2015 6:22 p.m.

klone13 That's IF I have a creature and IF I happen to have that card in hand. Too many variables. I'm just basically folding to burn. I'll lose to it 19 times on 20, and I'm willing to drop that one game if it makes my other matches stronger.

Runlue Hell, you almost won yesterday by pumping Immolating Souleater while I was at 9 because of fetches and shocks XD

6tennis That could work. Out of bolt range, still gains life, and hates on Lili (which hates on me). I'll probably make the switch. And Scooze actually really sucks in a bunch of games...

klone13 says... #21

I love Baloth actually. Now you have a chance against burn. Its great with 8rack as well.

June 2, 2015 6:30 p.m.

klone13 says... #22

I would cut 1 tazzy for a Thragtusk.

June 2, 2015 6:30 p.m.

Runlue says... #23

And what a glorious win that would've been.

stupid Seal of Primordium....

June 2, 2015 6:32 p.m.

klone13 I was thinking more 1 Taz for 1 Maelstrom Pulse because it's my only hit-all removal, and that's been extremely valuable for me in the last couple matches. Should I put another Thrag as well? There's already 11 creatures...

June 2, 2015 7:07 p.m.

klone13 says... #25

Jesus, idk what you should remove but one more thrag would be great.
