As the name says, this is a deck containing the spirit of what I enjoy most in this game. In other words, it's the deck that brings me immense pleasure and joy.

Those things include:

Lifegain - Check. The first deck I built on my own was a lifegain/vampire tribal deck, so lifegain and lifelink will probably always be my most favourite mechanic in this game. Plenty of better mechanics but hey, this one takes the cake for me.

Recursion - Check. The other thing I like is when my opponent has to kill my stuff for the third time only for it to come back in the next turn for the effing fourth time! Cruel, but funny (at least for me).

Black - Check. Given my two favourite activities in MtG, it shouldn't come as a surprise that my favourite colour is black. Not necessarily about villains, but mentality and course of action.

Green - Check. Second favourite colour. I do not like humongous beaters, but I really fancy some other things green does fantastically - namely ramp, non-creature recursion (as opposed to creature recursion, which is the domain of...) and great card-draw (again, black does that as well).

Artifacts - Oh my god, I LOVE artifacts!!! Maybe more than anything else in MtG. But I have an entire deck dedicated to them here - Machine March - so they get a pass (with one, maybe two exceptions, haven't decided yet).

Necropotence - Well, 404. Love that card too, but used it so many times it deserves a rest for a change. Lately to be found here - Deck where you get tokens when you play vampires. - (remember what I said about vampires?).
