My personal spin on b/w humans, the deck's curve tops out at 3! Obviously Athreos, God of Passage and Xathrid Necromancer make this deck annoying.
So to start: A flurry of 1 drops
Boros Elite

Soldier of the Pantheon,
Tormented Hero
Thoughtseize
all apply pressure early
the 2 drops:
Cartel Aristocrat to trigger Athreos, God of Passage and Xathrid Necromancer
High Priest of Penance to make it incredibly awkward for them to attack and to swing in for free
Pain Seer for card draw and more removal
this helps to ensure my three drops stay around for longer, they are what makes the deck a headache!
Xathrid Necromancer to make the walking dead come out
Athreos, God of Passage to make them pay for blocking all the weenies!
As for non-creature spells, I use a variety of protection all of which are one drops.
Gods Willing to scry and protect my black creatures, or help any creatures swing through
Altar's Reap for card draw and synergy with the athreos and necromancer triggers, also instant speed and easier to cast then Sign in Blood
Thoughtseize the best disruption
Ajani's Presence
for a pump and indestructibility against anything from board wipes to bigger creatures.
Devouring Light for removal when I appear to be tapped out
The singleton enchantment and artifact I run basically serve the same purpose, pumps!
Spear of Heliod universal pump and can deter attacks
I main board two copies of Hero's Downfall to deal with any threats such as fatties or walkers
Finally, the card nobody sees coming in most cases, Return to the Ranks to bring back all of my creatures if a game ends up being longer, especially pesky if they've been paying life to make sure they hit the graveyard.
The sideboard - finally finished as my Thoughtseizes have arrived!
Banishing Light for easy spot removal, easier to cast then
Banisher Priest
and much more versatile!
Celestial Flare
as an answer to my two biggest problems, Stormbreath Dragon and Blood Baron of Vizkopa or an early Courser of Kruphix or Sylvan Caryatid
Phyrexian Revoker a pithing needle that attacks woohoo
Deicide
for god hate or just enchantment
Imposing Sovereign usually will put this in game two for Precinct Captain if it's an aggro match up, makes a huge difference and easier to cast
Thoughtseize because it's fricken' thoughtseize man!
finally,
Renounce the Guilds
since i only run 6 multicolored permanents its usually a free answer to Blood Baron of Vizkopa or any of the g/r planeswalkers, or any other multicolored permanents really, but mostly them.
