A pair of new employees, but no firing... yet... —Sept. 5, 2015

An exciting few weeks for the Overpriced Store has led to some changes with the staff positions, but for the moment, there have only been gains, no losses. The new treasurer, Serra's Sanctum has been given a chance at the Store, as she can make money out of air and keeps the Store safer when the boss is out, but not his subordinates. Ghostly Prison is a contender that had an interview months ago and has patiently been waiting for a chance at the OS, so here she finally is, ready to backup Sphere of Safety should he be late.

Anyhow, the Store has officially conquered Europe! The continent's big sellers are collapsing one by one under the pressure brought by the Overpriced Store and its (very) expensive items. Huge thanks as always for the 175 guys!! 200, here we come!!

m0nkeyslay Well certainly a land, basics if you can't afford more expensive fetches or such. You could also experiment with Ghostly Prison.

BloodyTiara Hahaha thanks :)

Hey FAMOUSWATERMELON, I've been playing against my friend with this deck lately, and I think you should add the two Serra's Sanctums to the deck and take out a Personal Sanctuary and a Sphere of Safety. It's just that at the very start, it's really hard because of the mana usage, even though there isn't an expensive mana curve, it just seems a little bit too expensive at the start for me. Great deck, though.

euananddalesaccount Serra's Sanctum is a change that could definitely go in, though I would take out other lands rather than enchantments if I were to do that. I'm actually thinking of a couple other changes, so you'll probably see all of those once we get to 175 :)

I guess...But I do think that it doesn't need 4 Personal Sanctuarys and 4 Sphere of Safetys - at least get rid of an Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth cuz I don't believe that any deck should have 4 of the same legendary land. I think one should have, at most, three of one legendary.

Oh, and btw, I copied your deck and edited it. I just saved it as a prototype on my account. Check it out at http://The (very) Overpriced Store Across The Street.

I also think you should add the white and the red versions of Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, just because it would give you more availability for and mana.

It's mostly because they're all part of a combo that potentially wins me the game, so I need the consistency, despite the extra copies. Also, there is no or version of Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth :( That would be nice.

Ok, its too bad. Do you even know what the blue and red versions are called (or if there are)?I'm planning on making a blue/red mana ramp-ish deck. Oh and btw, if urborg makes all lands swamps in addition to its other type, then would it give you the availability of black mana? I've been playing that way using the swamp-ness of it and the The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale as mana outputs, and I, just then, questioned its use.

wait, never mind that comment of the version of Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth

August 30, 2015 6:24 p.m.

Yes, you can use Urborg and Tabernacle to produce black mana because they're swamps.
