This is a concept deck based on the Synad Empire, a sci-fi story I made up for a book. Every card fits an element of the story. (Bounce spells represent the psychic power of telekinesis, while the rest is either scientists, cyborgs or robots.)
Synad is a technocratic empire run by human psychics and cyborgs devoted to science and the power of mind over matter. Synad Cognitomancers have discovered a way to transmit matter into the astral plane, allowing them to travel physically into the collective consciousness of the human race, exploring countless worlds inside the realm of imagination and dreams. The Cognitomancers design and build vast fleets of machines and invade those imaginary worlds through their astral gates, waging great wars on countless strange oniric worlds to expand their knowledge of the human psyche as well as to gain power over it.
It's a mid-range/ramp artifact deck: ramp mana, cast a bunch of artifact creatures that boost each other, spawn a bunch of boosted artifact creature tokens, and swarm your opponents with huge killer robots. If things go wrong, the deck has a bit of control: bounce spells and Duplicant can remove a few problems and allow the big bots to get through.
