Rules Players start the game with 30 life, one plains, one forest, one island, one swamp, and one mountain in play. Players may start play with 1-3 Cascade Emblems, which read, “Sacrifice this Emblem: the next spell you cast this turn has Cascade (When you cast this spell, exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card that costs less. You may cast it without paying its mana cost. Put the exiled cards on the bottom of your library in a random order.) Any time a player may draw a card, they may either draw from THE STACK or draw any basic land or Wastes from outside the game.
Any reference to a player’s library refers instead to THE STACK. Any cards put into the graveyard or exile from a library are put into the active player’s respective zones. All cards are “owned” by whichever player first draws them into their hand.

Intent This is a format meant to remove all bummers from MtG: mana flooding, mana screw, and that feeling you get when your friend has clearly spent waaaay more time and/or money on their deck than you have. This format is also geared towards playing REALLY BIG THINGS, like all the truly ridiculous bombs which are hard to play in constructed, and even in limited environments. If, like me, you enjoy casting Legendary Octopi for a bajillion mana, you’ll find some enjoyment with this game type. This stack sits at an even 350 cards, so a five-person group could have a “regularly sized” deck to themselves, instead of drawing from one massive pile. This list would be ridiculously expensive to create IRL, so it's more of an ideal list than anything. To create a THE STACK of your own, crack open your rare binder, and maybe hit up your local game store for $0.40 “unplayable garbage rares.” They work wonders. Enjoy!
