The Scorpion God, Lord of Poison, killer of the Indestructible. Slayer of Gods. And the most useless fricking god of the Amonkhet/Hour of Devastation block.

This deck, is here to take on any and all "Indestructible" creatures, and slay them where they stand.

Using strange synergy loops like Avaricious Dragon and Library of Leng in conjunction with Archfiend of Ifnir to be able to mass discard, while not actually losing cards to the graveyard, and Scarab God to draw them back if you actually managed to kill things. You can easily slay, or bring down the most mighty of creatures, the Eldrazi gods themselves, with just a few turns of power. Wipe out the most powerful creatures by using Blowfly Infestation in conjunction with the sheer number of weaker creatures that are dropped by the god's poison to easily wipe out even Hydras.

Bigger creatures that don't have indestructible surviving the poison? Crumbling Ashes will take care of them right quick, and with Scorpion god in Play, gives you a guaranteed extra draw!

Overall, this deck was a sudden spur of the moment brain child upon looking at Scorpion God, and realizing that he is considered one of the most useless mythics printed outside of being a pain in the ass creature to deal with. Upon finding the amount of support that -1/-1 counters actually had though, I found that he could easily become a terrifying god capable of stopping his far more popular brother The Scarab God and The Locust God. Overall though, this deck IS slower, but still has the potential to become absolutely terrifying in that it's far harder to hold down this sort of deck because of the creeping poison that consumes all living things.
