The optimal strategy for this deck is to explode on turn 3.

Turn 1 drop a Children of Korlis.

Turn 2 drop Adanto Vanguard.

Turn 3 drop Light of Promise on the Adanto. Pay 16 life or however much you can get away with without putting yourself into the kill range of a lightning bolt or some other instant speed nonsense, then sac the Korlis to gain all that life back and end up with a 17/17 Adanto.

Alternately you can use the Hand of Vecna to drop your life total if you can't get an Adanto in hand, Oketra's Last Mercy if you don't have a Korlis, or just pump the old fashioned way with the other life gain cards in the deck.
