Impromptu, ad-lib, last-minute planning, improvising.

What do these words have in common? They all apply when you're playing with Arjun, the Shifting Flame. This deck was made because I wanted to play a fun deck that messes around and when I saw the Mindmoil on a stick, I instantly wanted to build a deck around him.

Arjun, the Shifting Flame + Psychosis Crawler or Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind can provide you heavy direct damage. Arjun, the Shifting Flame + Chasm Skulker creates a giant beatstick for you to swing with or an army of little squids. If you want to make it more personal, you can use Diviner's Wand to make the giant, flaming sphinx hit your opponents for some Commander Damage.

The main wincon of this deck is by milling your opponents out by stacking Arjun triggers while Jace's Erasure, Sphinx's Tutelage, and/or Psychic Corrosion are on the field. Everybody loves their deck going down the drain (especially graveyard-oriented commander decks, watch out for those).

Red, because burning things are fun: Mizzium Mortars, Chain Reaction and Blasphemous Act are your main removal package. These cards will help you clear out the field so nothing can touch your face.

Mizzix's Mastery is for a late-game burst of spells. I haven't been able to see it in action yet so it's a surprise how it will work out.
