The new Sidisi , Grave Tyrant #BUG #Competetive

Commander / EDH BUG (Sultai) Competitive Multiplayer Primer Reanimator

Towerdevil

This deck is based on a reanimation , has a combo to reach endless mana, but has no instant-kill combo - for all of you , who say, endless combo is boring. But still , you can play your whole deck by milling yourself to the end , and always flashback the Forbidden Alchemy . The self-mill wont kill you becouse of the BIG ELDRAZI THING.#

Main strategy:

Try to ramp and play your Commander as soon as possible. It's not a winning option, unlike Tasigur in other decks , but a nice start.

Don't be afraid of milling something importent or letting Sidisi die - her main role is to fill the graveyard. As soon as you have it filled - you can reanimate HUGIES , get CA with Life from the Loam , Seasons Past and other stuff.

BE AWARE of all the possible gravehate - that's your doom and death. If you have your Entomb on the hand - keep it , until you have a win-reanimation , OR - keep it to mix Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre into your grave, to save your corpses from the exile. If your Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre is on the hand - keep deck:Jace , Vryn's Prodigy untapped or fetch for Frantic Search and keep 3 mana open.

You're almost unbeatable in late-game - each of big guys you'd like to reanimte might be played manually and is still super dangerous . Every card in this deck can come back to your deck or hand and be incredebly useful on all of the game stages , so... Don't hurry, unless you are playing against some kind of Staxes deck - then - you'd better lock him down, until he lokcs you.

Card Choices :

1) Ramp

Birds of Paradise - not a word to say - combines well with Green Sun's Zenith , is a flyuing blocker , can be called by Woodland Bellower , and serves as food for all the sacrifice purposes.

Sylvan Caryatid - serves all the same purposes as the Birds , except for being able to survive a block, and being not that vulnerable. Although , the flyuing creatures fly over her head.

Courser of Kruphix - one of few lifegain options, but mostly a way to look over the topdeck, not to mill something you want on your hand , or not in your graveyard , those are deck:Ulamog, the infinite Gyre and sometimes card:Kederekt Leviaphan - in case you want to play Living Death

Deathrite Shaman - a tiny planeswalker loves fetchies of yours and your opponent , can heal you for a couple of HP and , what's most important - GRAVE CONTROL. Should have posted him by Control category.

Nissa, Vastwood Seer   - a better planeswalker for this deck. Sadly , only a basic Forestcan satisfy her , but still - you get card advantage, and late game it could turn into card advantage as well and a blocker every 2nd turn. The main thing - it works well with Commandante and mass-reanimation spells.

Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger - basically is a part of endless mana combo (with Palinchron , most of the time is a huge threat and mana-lockdown for your opponents, but still - it doubles your mana. What do you need so much mana for? No idea.

Life from the Loam - an auto-include card for everybody who wants to play green and touch their graves. Except for being a wonderful grave-filler , it also lets you use the lands , which fall into your graveyard, and such things as Barren Moor and Lonely Sandbar become an ednless cantrip. Dont't draw yourself dead.

Sakura-Tribe Elder - actually a Rampant Growth with block-option, chosen by Commander . This deck contains very few basic lands, so it's sometimews just a creature 1/1 , but still - a nice option at the start.

Green Sun's Zenith - basically a tutor, but in the early game it just still a Rampant Growth for Dryad Arbor - which mixes itself into the deck. Although serves as an option to play endless, without milling yourself.

2) Control

Mystic Confluence - why not Cryptic Command ? You are not really good at having a lot of blue mana-sources at the board. Also this card serves not only as control, but as a removal and a card-draw. All-in-one , perfect choice.

Mystic Snake - is a Counterspell and a creature, which is highly appreciated by Commander. Also, being paired with Deadeye Navigator and few lands untapped lets you counter whatever you want.

Glen Elendra Archmage - i did not put any combos with +1/+1 counters - she is good by herself , still being a creature . After mass-reanimation it is always good to have some answers to the boardwipes. And being one of the few flying creatures will not let you die to some stupid dragon.

Muddle the Mixture - being a counterspell, actually serves as a tutor for such things , as Life from the Loam,Abrupt Decay, Animate Dead , Dance of the Dead , Fauna Shaman , Sylvan Library , Altar of Dementia , Jace, Vryn's Prodigy   and few ramp spells. But still - dont't hurry to use it as a tutor - you play just 4 counterspells in deck - each one you play most be worth a victory.
