The deck is a mixed Black and Green with elements from both the Ramp and Grave digging.

The easier combo, that can be casted on turn one is of course Dark Ritual + Putrid Imp + Exhume to resurrect a random big one that is in hand. Otherwise the game can go a bit more slowly as Fauna Shaman and/or Buried Alive helps to find the right creature to either resurrect or to put into play directly with Elvish Piper .

The goal is to get Iona, Shield of Emeria into the field ASAP to utterly destroy the playability of the opposing Deck
