Unmarked Grave is replacing Lim-Dul's Vault. This new tutor is very efficient, allowing us to put the specific creature we need in the graveyard for just two mana and no life loss. Yes, it's a worse Entomb. But a slightly worse Entomb is still a very powerful card in this deck.
Cabal Initiate replaces Notion Thief. Thief was overall an underperformer. At four mana it's a little too clunky and it's effect is quite telegraphed. Cabal Initiate is, finally, an efficient way of giving our commander lifelink until the end of turn, allowing us to sustain ourselves to the late game. Between this, Witch's Clinic and Banehound we can now consider one of the deck's main weaknesses (life loss from our own cards and lack of defence) solved.
Suspend replaces Into the Roil. Suspend is a very cheap way of removing an opposing creature (two turns is often enough for us to kill its owner), but it can also be used to save our commander from removal if needs be. This can be a sneaky way of OTKing someone with haste when Lazav comes back from suspend.
