Strixhaven and Commander 2021 Update —April 18, 2021
Resculpt replaces Ravenform. While a 4/4 is definitely more threatening than a 1/1, the fact that it's an instant makes it a lot better than its predecessor. Additionally, the 4/4 Elemental does not have flying. This is another big upside, considering sometimes the 1/1 Bird could block our commander in the air.
Witch's Clinic is a good way of giving lifelink to our commander, considering it retains that ability until the end of turn. It replaces Strip Mine. This is more of a meta call. My playgroup doesn't run any Maze of Ith or Gaea's Cradle, so the Mine wasn't that useful.
The Biblioplex needs some hoops to jump through, but considering that the opportunity cost of including it is so low it deserves the spot. It replaces a basic Swamp.
As regards Oriq Loremage, the card is definitely too slow at four mana. It can make the cut if you are playing on a budget and cannot afford the more expensive tutors, but for my deck it's not worth it.
