Looks interesting. I think I would run Greater Good over Evolutionary Leap. Or both for redundancy.

I would also suggest Ancient Tomb, Volrath's Stronghold, and Phyrexian Tower for utility lands.

If your group is cool with non legend commanders, fun.

lagotripha,
Um, it says right in Jeremiah's description: Dune-Brood Nephilim is a place holder for the new 4 color legendary that will come with the next commander set.

Huh, sorry, missed that. I spent a little long looking at the deck rather than the explanation- makes a bit more sense too.

Shame the Nephilim aren't legendary. I heard Wizards say they wanted to fix it.

when does this commander become availiable?

November 11.

Have you considered enter the battlefield effect doublers? If you are aggressive enough, Panharmonicon lets you "attack three players" with one creature at a time using Saskia the Unyielding.

October 29, 2016 10:08 p.m.

Birthing Pod lets you pod Avenger of Zendikar into Craterhoof Behemoth for the win usually.

October 29, 2016 10:09 p.m.

First of all snowmaster55555atgmaildotcom how dare you have a longer/more ridiculous name than me.

Secondly, unfortunately Panharmonicon and Saskia the Unyielding don't work that way because of the 3rd ruling on the gatherer "Abilities that apply as [this creature] enters the battlefield, such as choosing a creature to copy with Clone, are unaffected."

Thirdly, my good god why have I never thought of doing that with Birthing Pod pod?

1.) Thank you.

2.) I didn't realize that. Thank you for pointing it out.

3.) Considering the big commander staples is never wrong. You might also consider:

A.) Rakdos Charm for artifact removal and killing people that like Splinter Twin.

B.) Sterling Grove to fetch useful enchantments or protect existing ones.

C.) Alesha, Who Smiles at Death because creatures like Oracle of Mul Daya die.

D.) Animate Dead because big creatures die too.

E.) Dragonlord Dromoka if you hate pesky Counterspells. After all, you are playing the anti-blue deck.

F.) Xenagos, God of Revels for massive creatures, an effect that largely evades removal, and combos with extra combats, especially from Aurelia, the Warleader.

G.) Waves of Aggression grants extra combats.

H.) Lingering Souls is simply good value for its cost. It's a great source of flying blockers or cheap aggression.

I.) My favorite removal suite in white. The staples are Path to Exile, Swords to Plowshares, Wrath of God, Terminus, Descend upon the Sinful, Day of Judgment, Grasp of Fate, and Quarantine Field.

J.) Cathars' Crusade helps creatures get big as the game goes on.

k.) Deploy to the Front gives you a blocker for every opposing creature and a buddy for everyone on your side.

L.) Karmic Guide helps things stay dead for only a short while.

M.) Reconnaissance helps you avoid combat tricks, unfavorable blocks, and virtually gives all of your creatures vigilance, since it can be activated after combat damage is dealt.

N.) Grand Abolisher has the same reasoning as Dragonlord Dromoka.

O.) Ghostly Prison can have some uses if you are in a heavily aggressive environment.

P.) Crypt Ghast & Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth combo nicely.

Q.) Triskaidekaphobia for that lovely win.

R.) Master of Cruelties combos with triskaidekaphobia to bring the opponent to one, then have them lose a life, while being an instant kill with Alesha, Who Smiles at Death.

S.) Exquisite Blood is amazing, especially if Saskia the Unyielding is letting you deal more damage.

T.) Street Wraith makes the deck one less card, but you life total two less.

U.) Exsanguinate wrecks multiplayer games.

V.) Dictate of Erebos makes people think twice about killing your creatures.

W.) Insurrection is great in multiplayer.

X.) Burn at the Stake with a big board kills quickly.

Y.) Need for Speed, Hammer of Purphoros, and Fervor all grant haste for a surprise attack.

Z.) Wheel of Fortune and Reforge the Soul refill your hand to give you more gas.

AA.) Purphoros, God of the Forge is great with lots of creatures flooding the board.\

BB.) Descent of the Dragons turns 1/1 spirits or soldiers into 4/4 dragons.

CC.) Pattern of Rebirth gets big things and tells people what not to kill.

DD.) Nylea, God of the Hunt gives trample, which always helps.

EE.) Shamanic Revelation draws cards and gains some life. Harmonize is good with this too.

FF.) Beast Within destroys a thing.

GG.) Sylvan Caryatid fixes and can't be easily hit.

HH.) Woodland Bellower can get utility creatures out of nowhere. If you run it, you should include Reclamation Sage.

II.) Quicksilver Amulet gets big things cheap.

JJ.) Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger is a bomb.

KK.) Solemn Simulacrum is a commander all-star.

LL.) Survival of the Fittest tutors creatures easily.

MM.) Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger paints a target on your face, but for a reason.

NN.) Demonic Tutor gets you a thing.

OO.) Gamble might get you a thing.

PP.) Thunderfoot Baloth with the commander out is just too good to resist.

QQ.) Triumph of the Hordes ends games on the spot.

RR.) Ruric Thar, the Unbowed hates storm.

TT.) Chaos Warp gets rid of a thing.

UU.) Green Sun's Zenith gets you something green.

VV.) Azusa, Lost but Seeking likes lands.

WW.) Mirari's Wake likes mana.

XX.) Zendikar Resurgent doubles mana and likes creatures.

YY.) Domri Rade likes aggro.

ZZ.) The Aggravated Assault and Savage Ventmaw combo, because combos are fun.

This is just to name a few off the top of my head.

snowmaster55555atgmaildotcom you obviously don't know what "few" means. But you've given me a lot to think about and reminded me that 4 colors has too many options.

Love he deck. Despite the list of ads suggested by snowmaster55555atgmaildotcom I have a couple of others. Firstly, I love Pathbreaker Ibex and Siege Behemoth and little will ensure you get your combat damage trigger off more often than those two. Also, Grenzo, Havoc Raiser makes for a fun card too. Now you can force opponents to leave themselves open to your horde. Creatures that have their own combat trigger can work too such as Balefire Dragon,Borborygmos, Butcher Orgg etc. Cards that produce tokens by attacking could serve to inflate your army so Hanweir Garrison and the like are pretty good. And lastly cards like Five-Alarm Fire can just be a big lingering threat that you charge up for doing what you were already going to do, smash face.

Love the deck idea. Kudos.

I'm definitely marking this for possible suggestions to make my saskia better, onecard that you can use is Strionic Resonator because it does work with her second ability unlike panharmonicon

Gratuitous Violence and Dictate of the Twin Gods are fun additions, for 4 times damage to targeted player even when you don't hit them.

Hellpyre says... #17

sobektheblack - It doesn't work with the "as Saskia enters" effect for the same reason Panharmonicon doesn't, but it can add the damage for a SINGLE creature's combat damage trigger again.

Hellpyre I agree I think I miss worded my reply, I never meant to use it for the ETB just the damage to another player portion

I think Hydra Omnivore could make a fun addition

I might play some blink effects like Conjurer's Closet so you can choose different players after the one is dead. It also lets you reassign if someone else becomes the threat.

How does myriad help?

November 24, 2016 1:03 a.m.

Drakorya says... #23

Well, if you have multiple opponents without blockers you'll pile the damage on whatever player you choose with Saskia. And even if they do have blockers, the tokens might take out some of their blockers for you.

It also works well with Adriana, Captain of the Guard.

But if you're mainly playing 1v1, myriad is pretty useless.

November 24, 2016 5:23 p.m.

Myriad doesn't work that way with Adriana, Captain of the Guard. Rule "Although the tokens enter the battlefield attacking, they were never declared as attackers. Abilities that trigger whenever a creature attacks wont trigger, including the myriad ability of the tokens. If there any costs to have a creature attack, those costs wont apply to the tokens." Though the creatures that were not made with myriad would get the buff, I usually have saplings to throw away, which accomplishes the same purpose.

Something to consider is adding some creatures that act as subtle incentive to attack other people. Gahiji, Honored One or Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, for example. I also think Gisela would be crazy good in your deck since the Saskia triggers are separate instances of damage, so I'm pretty sure they would double again (i.e Gisela attacks and hits an opponent for 5, doubled to 10. Saskia causes 10 damage to be triggered on the hated enemy, which Gisela doubles to 20).

Also, Abundance is a crazy good combo with the Sylvan Library already in your deck - you get to keep 3 cards a turn with no damage since the Abundance is a replacement effect.
