Really wanted to make some room for the Xathrid Necromancer, as I've seen him in an Orzhov deck. I imagined it to do a lot of wreck on my opponents. The synergy with all the sacrificing and morbid with my take on Aristocrats was just too good to pass up on. Had to swap out the Silverblade Paladin. I love Double Strike, but this has just a better feel and I honestly believe the deck wouldn't be awesome without it. I did pretty well with FNM. Ended out in second place and picked up my Dimir Charm promo. =]

Round One
Opponent used Orzhov Life Gain. Blood Artist tipped the scales and Falkenrath Aristocrat ended both games. Had a few surprises with some enchantments, but Boros Reckoner and Blasphemous Act won it. 2-0.

Round Two
Opponent used Jund Aggro. Boros Reckoner stopped his waves of haste creatures and relied on Falkenrath Aristocrat to pound it out. 2-1.

Round Three Opponent used Selesnya Life Gain. Really tough deck to beat. Archangel of Thune, centaur hearler, and Fiendslayer Paladin were pretty invulnerable. Had to rely on sideboard to take this match-up. skull crack and Dreadbore jumped in and made the difference. 2-1.

Round Four
Went up against Junk Tokens. Opponent ran Voice of Resurgence, Advent of the Wurm, and Lingering Souls. Nearly had the match, but opponent had a great sideboard. I remember putting him at four life and swinging with Falkenrath Aristocrat, but he Druid's Deliveranced. =[ Great game, though. Was on the edge of my seat when I drew into a Boros Charm. 1-2.

Ended 2nd place. =]
