This deck is part of a collection that I labeled 'The Jungle Book Series - Lessons from the History of Fat', a collection that has a sort of an encyclopedian flavour. And every serious encyclopedia mentions its sources, so: here we go.

Boy oh boy, where do I start. I've been wanting to build a deck like this for ages, It may not look like much given our modern day standards (and my version is certainly subpar to the original), but let me tell you: it's a little masterpiece. As stated above, Secret Force is the offspring of one of the most talented and original deckbuilders (and reporters) in Magic, Jamie Wakefield. For starters, let's see his famous decklist:

To understand how to play his deck, take it from the 'King of the Fatties' himself (this article is a must read):

** For my sideboard choices and ways to update this deck**, I read this interesting piece by Stathis Patsantzis:

As for the general tenets of the Wakefield School, Mike Flores has written a number of insightful articles, the first one being:

He went a little bit more in-depth with these other ones (the third one being focussed on Secret Force):

Hope you'll find food for thought. Oh, and for the Oskar Tan's reference, check out my:

I'd recommend Plummet over Wing Snare for a faster and cheaper kill for flyers. At the same cost as Wing Snare (but at faster speed), Pistus Strike kills a flyer and gives the opponent a poison counter, which is useful in some decks but less so here.

Thank you, TheMadRocketeer. I was thinking of Plummet when deciding how to address the Flying threat, but this is kind of a 'pet deck' and I prefer using only cards with the old frame (Plummet was printed later). Apart from that, you definitely have a good point: instant speed is preferable here ;)
