Mirrodin lies in tatters, but the struggle is far from over. For we are Mirrodin's children, and we will reclaim her; one scrap at a time, if necessary. Our machinations will overcome this corrosion these infectors have laid upon our world, and by the divine might of our people we will see a pure Mirrodin once again.

What is this deck?

This is a casual equipment/Metalcraft EDH deck built using only cards from Scars block. It's intended to be a flavour explosion, representing the remains of the Mirran resistance as they struggle to continue to fight off the Phyrexian invaders from their home.

How do you win?

Hit stuff! The deck is filled with double strike enablers (True Conviction) and double strikers (Mirran Crusader, Spiraling Duelist, Auriok Edgewright), as well as plenty of equipment to beef up the Mirran's to fight off the Phyrexian onslaught. This deck has big Metalcraft payoffs; as such, Memnite and Darksteel Relic are in the deck to ensure you can hit the 3 artifacts you need to be at your most powerful. Since Mirrodin is technically conquered, Phyrexian Rebirth is something to look out for; but in doing so, you'll have the board cleared for your new Phyrexian friend to finish the job. Continue to pump out creatures with Golem Foundry, equip EVERYTHING with Puresteel Paladin and True Conviction, and show your opponents what the Mirran's can do!

Why the restriction?

Wanted to do the opposite side of my Scars only Infect Deck For the New Phyrexian Republic, and so this was born. Scars block does not have very many good utility lands, so alas it has to run only basics. Hopefully people like the flavour here!
