The focus of this deck is to generate tokens as quickly as possible to protect and use the abilities of planeswalkers to win the game.

Step #1 Generate Tokens- This deck uses permanents that can generate tokens each turn. Cards such as Imperious Perfect and Awakening Zone are ideal for this strategy. However, none are quite as ideal as the planeswalkers who create toekns. Elspeth, Sun's Champion, Garruk, Primal Hunter and Nissa, Voice of Zendikar are awesome for growing your field.

Step #2 Grow Your Army- Rhys the Redeemeds' second effect is the reason this deck works. Doubling your number of tokens is extremely powerful. Using this effect with Doubling Season or Parallel Lives will replace any tokens that have died. Their typical cause of death is chump blocking to protect you or your planeswalkers.

Step #3 Super Friends- Doubling Season and Rings of Brighthearth are cards that are typically seen in most token builds. Which makes sense; they can grow your field ridiculously fast. However, these cards can also do much more. In fact these two cards are what makes this deck so dangerous.

Lets take a look at Doubling Seasons' ability to double counters. At first you may think this doesn't matter. This deck isn't running cards that generate counters. You are correct, but this effect is key with planeswalker loyalty counters. With Doubling Season in play your planeswalkers enter with double the loyalty. Making it so that you can use their ultimate ability the turn they come in. With Elspeth, Knight-Errant, Ajani Steadfast and Elspeth, Sun's Champion the turn they hit the field your opponent(s) needs an instant response otherwise it is going to be near impossible for them to take control of the game.

Now Rings of Brighthearth is important for reusing activated abilities. This means for just Rhys the Redeemed creates squared tokens (where is the number of tokens you control). That's a lot of creatures. It doesn't stop there. All planeswalkers use activated abilities. Yes that means all of your planeswalkers now have buy one get one free effects. Create create an emblem, tap two mana, and bam you get another one.

Note: When using a planeswalkers ability adding/subtracting loyalty counters is a cost. That means with Rings of Brighthearth and Doubling Season you do NOT put double the counters on a planeswalker when you use their ability

Now do you see what I'm getting at. All of these cards have such great synergy! This makes it so you can play a Green/White SuperFriends deck inside of a token deck. So if one strategy fails there is another plan to fall back on. I personally love playing this deck. It is fun and strong in both single and multiplayer player games. If you are considering on making a token or superfriends deck I would have to strongly suggest for you to use this one.
