This may be, for now, the last deck in my series of 'homage' titles that I've constructed. It took me quite a while to properly conceptualize something special for this friend in particular, just like the other decks I made. Wanting to personalize the colors, commander, the deck's theme. Each deck is something I've made with this single question in mind, "If my friend flew over here for a game of magic, would they play this?" as a means of properly conveying the deck's mechanics and themes to best fit that friend.

Each feels like a small achievement that I wish to one day let my friends play themselves or against just to see how they react to these specific builds that I made with each of them in mind. Nightbound Tribal. Equipment Tribal. Goblin Storm. Enchantresses. Deadly Recluse Voltron. Each a theme based on or revolving around themes that each player specifically enjoys, incorporating their favorite commanders in their colors as lieutenants in every place I could, this deck and the equipment ones being slightly different as they're not in my friends' colors (my spin on how I interpret my friends' characteristics in magic), but this deck will be a bit unique (I hope as unique as the other decks and just as playable).

I'm building around Pink Floyd, a bonding topic between myself and this particular Planeswalker who's inspired the concept. The commander both resembles the Dark of the Moon album (if only vaguely enough for it to be okayed by my friend whom this deck is inspired by) and contains abilities in line with the manipulative, player-interactive play that this particular Planeswalker favors at the table. To hold control of any form (politically if it can be helped) over other players while doing as little as possible. That latter is a bit negotiable because it's going to take a lot to make this deck really consistent because I'm not only theming it around Pink Floyd, but the famous cultural phenomenon that followed their progressive political and social commentary and their creation of psychedelic rock (which I akin to a close cousin of some Doom Metal music) and all the art that'd follow.

As follows, I'm attempting to construct a politically aggressive deck that will in every way I can possibly help, feature cards (via mechanic, name, art, or flavor text) that convey the Psychedelia movement of the 1960s that Pink Floyd cultivated with their music, effects that gain us advantage through chaos or politics, and any form of control that isn't directly hateful if we can help it, but entirely reactionary; because the method of this commander's ability makes it difficult to not get hit by someone, and in some cases it can be difficult to get hit, so if we can target who hits us, or politically gain favor with the player we're directed to attack (making them as much of an ally as possible until the end) we'll be able to change the direction of combat to our benefit, becoming friends with those we share our substances (music or whatever else have you wink) and protecting if not defending them for our benefit in the late game. I've yet to properly devise a 'winning' strategy as I try my best to not use wincons in the form of single card drops. So no Second Suns rising in this deck. Just friendship through the form of subversive political influence which subverts cultural norms mechanically in every game played.

If anyone has any questions, or cards with some cool trippy art to recommend I'm all ears.
