Sideboard

Ayli makes a fantastic lifegain utility commander, especially with the old-school Cleric tribal benefits. The Big Combo is a combo of Daru Spiritualist and Task Force (or most other creatures), and Lightning Greaves, Shuko, or Umbra Mantle, playing off of Ayli's sacrifice ability.

As a cheaper Miren, the Moaning Well, she activates infinite lifegain, since ol' Daru up there gets infinite toughness from attaching Greaves as many times as you want during your turn. Since your commander only costs 2, she's accessible even if you need to chump-block!

Adding Cleric tribal tricks like Dark Supplicant makes the deck more versatile in dealing with threats. If you build this yourself, feel free to add more creatures and tribal elements like a Door of Destinies, just to try something new.

There are around 5 lifegain combos in all, each of which has backups. I find playing Hatred on Divinity of Pride particularly amusing. Kokusho, the Evening Star with Blade of Selves always gets a laugh too. If all else fails, Aetherflux Reservoir is your best friend. All told, this deck is one of my favorites to play.
