Odrics Army —May 2, 2014
I removed the Hero of Bladeholds from the deck (for now) and replaced it with one Odric, Master Tactician and 2 Spear of Heliod. My reasoning is, the Hero is a Knight, not a soldier. Odric is a soldier, has first strike, and can end the game with an all out alpha strike. I guess I just feel Odric is the better card for this deck. The two Spears fill out the missing two spots after adding the 1 Odric. Why? 3 Odric's is too much. With him curving out, I do not need him early game. The deck is perfectly capable in winning without him. Plus, with a weenie deck like this, and only running 20 land, I'd like to keep the 4 drops to a minimum. Also, he is a legendary. I make the exception to running more than 2 legendary's with Thalia, Guardian of Thraben because I want her early and often. The Spears also add in some needed removal.
Should I try to fit in a few Crusader of Odrics into the deck?
