see update belowFocusing on equipment and the great tutor spell Open the Armory, this is my attempt at a budgeted standard deck so I can like, actually go to FNM's. It started as a $15 deck, but it's now edited with some bomb rares I had lying around that I realized I'd rather play with than cash in for other cards (i.e. Avacyn and Declaration). I love the two kor equipment dudes, Stoneforge Acolyte and Stone Haven Outfitter. Weapons Trainer helps make a Stoneforge Masterwork bigger with the kor/ally synergy, doubling to help a Kor Ally or a Human soldier. Kazuul's Toll Collector seems fun with some of the equipment in here, especially with a Stone Haven Outfitter in play already. Oh, and Thraben Inspector is seriously just so good no matter when you draw one. Let me know what you think!

Geier Reach Sanitarium is a sweet card. Oh and Murderer's Axe anybody? With those as instant speed enablers for Fiery Temper I got the additional removal this deck really needed. Adding in Sigarda's Aid was a no-brainer from the moment Eldritch Moon was released as well. It was pretty easy to cut Stoneforge Acolyte once I thought about it, they're pretty terrible to look at if not in your opening hand. Gryff's Boon came out of the sideboard once I realized I could go over someone's board and pressure planeswalkers with a flyer easier game 1, rather than reacting with it in game 2. Added in Thalia's Lancers, 3x their namesake and a second Avacyn, and I think this deck has some real gas until Battlefield Forge rotates. Fingers crossed for a solid Boros land to replace it, so I can keep playing this fun little beast of a deck. This was originally a budget deck featuring Avacynian Missionaries ^Flip but then I got paid and picked up a EDM booster box, and got ALL the value. Also considering a one of Haunted Cloak to tutor for when Trample is all I need to get that last bit of damage in.
