This deck of Thassa, God of the Sea is having ramp a little bit a card draw and some counterspells until we can get out our Krakens and other giant creatures.

There are some other cards and combos that I want to talk about:

Brine Elemental + Mercurial Pretender is a slow combo but in late game the opponent will almost never untap.

Brine Elemental + Scourge of Fleets is also a littel combo (this also works with Deadeye Navigator)

Whelming Wave + Mnemonic Wall or Archaeomancer will give us board control.
