Thada Adel, Acquisitor's Theft and Sea Monsters is a budget-friendly mono-blue deck that combines the art of theft with the power of massive sea creatures. Key Strategy: The primary strategy of this deck is twofold: stealing artifacts and unleashing powerful sea monsters. Use Thada Adel's ability to exile artifacts from your opponents' libraries and decks, gaining control of their treasures and building your own resource base. As the game progresses, cast massive sea creatures that dominate the battlefield and create a formidable presence.

This deck has no real early game which is why Thada Adel, Acquisitor is much better as the commander than a legendary sea monster like Lorthos, The Tidemaker or Tromokratis. Early game, then, you just use Thada Adel, Acquisitor to make enemies and build your board with your opponents' mana rocks. Late game, you have giant sea monsters, like Shipbreaker Kraken and Scourge of Fleets, which is a house in mono-blue decks. I once used Memnarch to steal a Liliana Vess as soon as she had enough counters for her ultimate.
