Tezzeret, Affinity, & Birthing Pod... what more could you want...?

The premise is to use Chalice of the Void and Baleful Strix as early protection. You play 10-12 artifact lands, along with [mox opal] to power out a fast birthing pod or Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas. From there, you play Frogmite and Myr Enforcer generally for free/heavily reduced cost to either beat down or pod away for utter value/finishers like Thragtusk, Doomwake Giant, Griselbrand, or Platinum Emperion. Out of the board you have access to Sundering Titan, Ashen Rider and Keranos, God of Storms. Because of these cards, the deck mulligans terribly and its opening hands are high variance. I once scooped to Gitaxian Probe T2 w/ a Young Pyromancer on board because my hand was city of traitors, tezzeret agent of bolas, thragtusk, griselbrand, and a reclamation sage.

To its benefit, the list is extremely budget as it runs no fetches or dual lands (Sundering Titan has no targets in the deck). It does need city of traitors, but you could get away with 4 ancient tombs and a couple mox diamonds. You don't need the Jace - I just like having a way to shuffle cards back in, and most people will name Pod or Tezz off of a Needle :P

It has strength against control decks and fair decks. It has a lot of trouble vs combo, but that's why you have Chalice and Crypts, to try and stop shenanigans. Ethersworn Canonist would be a reasonable add in too.
