Tetzimoc as a commander? Darn right. I knew I wanted to make this work as soon as I saw him. Perhaps I like a challenge. Maybe I'm a masochist. Most likely a bit of both. So here it is, my take on Tetzimoc, Primal Death.

The overall strategy will be to convert their graveyard into your army. Tetzimoc is but one piece of this. We're going to rely on some bounce effects for Tetzimoc that also hinder our opponents such as Blood Clock, Erratic Portal or Umbilicus along with a healthy dose of discard and some mill effects.

I've also added in some Ninjutsu creatures because it's a great mechanic for this deck and unexpected (at least the first time you do it).

Scythe of the Wretched and Nightmare Lash on Tetzimoc will create some tough choices for the defending player. Do they take potentially lethal commander damage, or do they block and lose that creature(s) to your control?

I chose Swiftfoot Boots over Lightning Greaves because I need the ability to target Tetzimoc with Erratic Portal and the like.

I may trade Basilisk Collar for Loxodon Warhammer as trample would be a good addition to Tetzimoc and since he already has Deathtouch, Collar is slightly redundant.

Torment of Hailfire is a major wincon in this deck along with damage, commander or otherwise. Other wincons will depend on what your opponents are playing.
