Sideboard

Maybeboard

"If you can't take it with you, why not indulge in it while you're here?"

Bloodstained Mire and the like are essential for fetching whatever we need, especially dual lands to diversify as fast as possible.

Blood Crypt and the like are great fast dual lands and can be fetched by Bloodstained Mire and other fetches.

Treasure Vault is a flexible one of land that can generate treasures if we're flooded on mana and/or need to make treasures for any reason.

Cavern of Souls gives protection for our dragons by making them uncounterable.

Haven of the Spirit Dragon gives us a way to bring back a specific dragon if needed.

Otawara, Soaring City has a great ability to help control boards, as well as the decent amount of legendary creatures that are in this deck allowing you to not pay full mana for the channel ability most of the time.

All other lands are there purely for diversity, as well as the basics to fill the rest.

Deadly Dispute is one a fantastic draw engine due to how many treasures we'll have, often being a 1 mana draw 2 if you sac a treasure.

Lightning Bolt is removal and direct damage to the opponent.

Thoughtseize can remove game winning cards and mess with your opponents early game.

Stubborn Denial can has great synergy with our dragons as any of them can trigger this cards ferocious ability, allowing some protection from removal.

Fable of the Mirror-Breaker   has insane value to help fill in some dead turns. Creating a token that can make treasures synergizes nicely with this deck, cycling cards is always useful, and having a way to double up on our dragons adds some good finisher potential, or possibly a way to add pressure when behind.

Goldspan Dragon Allows us to double up on mana production with our treasures and usually demands a removal card at the cost of the opponents life.

Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer is a fantastic turn one (or dashed on turn two) play that can instantly create pressure and give a lot of value.

Nicol Bolas, the Ravager   is a good early to mid game threat with value the second he hits the board, and a planeswalker attached to him that can finish games.

Sarkhan, Fireblood can draw, filter out the hand, ramp for dragons, and get a game-winning ult off, especially when a Terror is on board.

Terror of the Peaks basically a Thunderbreak Regent and Dragon Tempest combined. Terror is better than Tempest in some cases due to not having to go wide in order to get damage off the ETB triggers at the cost of not having haste, but it's a fair trade off for how much Terror can do.

Sarkhan, Soul Aflame is the new spice pick that does everything this deck wants to do. If he can live, the mana discount can cheat out a dragon, AND he can become a copy of it! So doubling up on Goldspan's or Terrors can quickly spell huge trouble for the opponent.

Charming Scoundrel is a cheap and flexible card. It can draw, create a buff token, and create a treasure.

Our gameplan is simple, ramp and make explosive plays out of nowhere. But there also is a clear controlling aspect to it with all of the removal. These inclusions are made in order to set a path for out creatures to be able to hit the board and start making plays. Because of this, the majority of the deck's curve tops out at 3 with the expensive cards serving as the payoff for all the treasures being made, meaning your opening hand needs to follow suit with controlling cards and treasure production in the early game, and the large threats later on.

The sideboard, like most, covers your next couple matchups against a variety of decks, but this one is tailored more into being more controlling as the main deck is tailored more into the offense and disruption.

Haunting Voyage is a fun card that can come out at any favorable situation if it was foretold, reanimating some key dragons to finish the game out. Usually this is switched out in slow matchups.

Dauthi Voidwalker can hate on graveyard decks and can play those cards for free.

Dress Down can stop lethal ETB triggers or anything else that can be deadly.

Drown in the Loch can get rid of a lot of unwanted target against opponents who play a lot of spells or fill their graveyard fast.

Abrade hates on artifacts.

Engineered Explosives is flexible destruction of anything nonland.

Damnation is board clear.

Hidetsugu Consumes All   is for added pressure, creature removal, and graveyard hate.

Thundermaw Hellkite can clear the way for lethal in matchups where our dragons are being walled by other flyers.

As always, suggestions are greatly appreciated! This deck is constantly being tweaked so don't be surprised to see some new or removed cards.

Updates Add

Removed Revel in Riches, 1 Treasure Vault and Treasure Map , added Kaito Shizuki and Fury. The former are either too expensive or just slow down the game plan, and the new additions make the deck more ready for any situation and reduce the amount of dead turns. I'm really liking how the deck runs now, so it ""MIGHT"" be the final iteration.
