TazBearies are a rare and poisonous fruit that can render a person immobile in seconds. It gets its name from General Tazri's special forces who use the fruit to coat their weapons before battle.

What we aim to do with this deck is to quickly immobilize our opponents with a nonstop flow of mostly one sided stax effects and then Jam Food Chain combo down their throats.

Why take food chain Tazri in this direction? Food Chain combo with Tazri at the helm has some really great advantages from a stax perspective. It can win mostly untouched by several very powerful stax pieces such as Suppression Field, Eidolon of Rhetoric, Ethersworn Canonist, Rest in Peace, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, Trinisphere, and Containment Priest. The combo is relatively compact even with the redundant parts and the color scheme is incredible. The biggest barrier to success is lacking CA in the command zone. As such I am using as many good tutors and card advantage spells as possible to keep the pain flowing.
